Dr Hamish Philpott trained in Gastroenterology at The Austin Hospital, Box Hill, The Western and The Alfred Hospitals. His PhD looked on the role of food antigens (diet) in Eosinophilic Esophagitis at Monash University.
Over his career has received grants from GESA, the RACP and AusEE and has undertaken post-doctoral research fellowships relating to food and the immune system. He is passionate about applying tailored, high-quality up-to-date treatments individualised to each patient.
Dr Philpott practices at 480 Specialist Centre, Mt Barker and Stirling.
