Taryn Lores is a Health Psychologist. She practices at the Royal Adelaide Hospital IBD Service, and in private practice at Inspired Psychology. In both practices she provides psychological intervention to IBD patients, and undertakes research into their mental health needs.
She gained general registration in 2012 and completed her Masters of Health Psychology at the University of Adelaide in 2014. With a strong interest in the relationship between mind and body, she also focuses on the factors that influence health, illness and overall wellbeing.
She is currently completing her PhD through Deakin University. The main focus is the integration of psychological care for people with IBD.
Taryn holds memberships to the following associations:
- Australian Psychological Society (APS)
- APS College of Health Psychologists (associate membership), and
- Australian Society of Hypnosis.
