Dr Abdul Shaikh
Gastroenterologist
Dr Abdul Shaikh graduated from medicine in Pakistan before coming to Australia in 2007 to further his medical training. He trained in gastroenterology at the Lyell McEwin Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital. He was the IBD fellow at Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2020.
Dr Shaikh is pursuing research in the role of diet in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and is also involved in the clinical trials unit at Royal Adelaide Hospital.
